Hello after listening to episode Leverage Dopamine to Overcome Procrastination & Optimize Effort I am wondering if there is a study to support increasing dopamine baseline by celebrating small wins. Setting small achievable goals and celebrating their achievment vs getting frustrated by over ambitious goals. I love the wave pool analogy in this episode.
Do you have any knowledge or opinion of Dr Goodenowe and his Alzheimer's wellness program and Plasmalogen supplements? He has patents and many medical opinions (?) documented on nih. I can't help but feel skeptical, how is it that he's improved lives of Alzheimer's patients and the world isn't talking about it everywhere? Any info you have would be appreciated.
Just read an on-line article about successful treatment of enlarged prostate using LLLT. I have tested this idea on myself - I get out and sunbathe naked every day on my yoga mat facing the morning sun for about 30 minutes getting plenty of sun on my whole body including my genital and groin area. It is very soothing and relaxing! I simply angle the part of my body in need of the most infrared directly into the sun. It is like a sun massage! I control the "hands" of the sun by moving my body. It is also very meditative - like yoga and massage all in one! I have been doing this for over a year now. I also get a serving of UVB at lunch at the top of my hill, then another serving of infrared at sunset on the west side of my hill. I am getting a full meal of sunshine three times a day! I am glad that I own 20 acres in SoCal. Some may label me as a sun-worshipper, but I think Dr. Huberman would be proud of me! This is not the only thing I have done to help my prostate - but it probably helped. My urologist now tells me there is no further need to see him! Here's the link: https://healthcaremarts.com/blogs/healthcare-center/led-light-therapy-for-prostatic-hyperplasia and the device is sold on Amazon. Please tell me what you think. It makes sense to me since infrared waves can penetrate deep into the groin area and rejuvenate cell mitochondria.
