Opoid Addiction

I think I'm addicted to a painkiller I've been taking for over a year. The prescribed dose no longer works. I reached out to an addiction specialist for help. He told me I'm dependent and not a addicted. What is the difference, and where might I reach out for help, to get off this chemical and find different ways to relieve pain? I don't want to die a drug addiction. I'm a 66-year old female. The pain is orthopedic in nature. Thank you.

Is n-HA safer & more effective than fluoride in toothpaste?

I just listened to the AMA on fluoride and wanted to ask if nano-hydroxyapatite is a safer & more effective additive to toothpaste compared to fluoride. I've been using a toothpaste with this ingredient, and I've noticed that other brands are cropping up with it as well. Thanks!

Does "grounding" have real benefits? If so, what about grounding mats vs. earth in the outdoors (barefoot, of course)?

I'd love to hear what you have to say about grounding -- if there's anything to it and if a commercially available grounding mat truly mimics the earth.

Is there a reason why you do not use a fitness/health tracker?

I was wondering the reason I never see you wear any fitness or health trackers such as Apple/Garmin/Whoop devices. Do you not trust the data or the anxiety they might give you?

I am interested in enzymes and cellular pathways like nrf2 and mtor

Can you do a segment on these and other cellular pathways, and discuss how they regulate cell growth, or don't, and the implications for these and other pathways for common diseases: cancer, ms, diabetes... It would be interesting to hear more about how brain cells are impacted as cellular signaling in these pathways alter cell development. AND how does how normal and supplement nutrition help or hinder these pathways as they do what they do.
