I have what you might call a 'nervous stomach'. So when I am under a lot of stress, for example before an important exam or before an important meeting with my superiors, I feel a lot of nausea and typically can't ingest a lot of food/calories. As a consequence I feel tired and can't concentrate as well. This significantly inhibits my performance and well-being. After the anticipated event has started or is over I usually feel pretty normal right away. Are you aware of any behavioral tools or supplements that might help rewire my nervous system to lessen the described effects?

I've decided to experiment on myself by changing the side that I sleep on; I have slept solely on my right side for most likely my whole life; I thought, what if gravity pulls more blood and oxygen to one side of my brain? So, for about a week now, I've been sleeping on my left to draw that blood into the left side. Difficult to fall asleep at first. I can't wait to hear back about this. So far, what happened is a minor mood issue that's resolved and less creativity when it comes to typing on message boards and having new ideas.
