Asian Indian phenotype

I'm an Indian that wants to have a flat stomach. Recently I learned that it's harder for me to lose my belly fat because of my genetics and the "Asian Indian phenotype". This was a genetic disposition to fight against famine centuries ago. Could you please talk about the validity of the studies and how people with that phenotype should train differently to lose body fat? Bulking and cutting doesn't work the same (so I've heard). Thank you Anonymous.

Comt Gene Val158met please help

I recently was diagnosed with Pulminary Arterial Hypertension at age 39. I had gene testing done and found out that I carry Comt Gene Val158met which is very complicated for me to understand. I will say that since I was a child I struggled with major depression, anxiety, anger, isolation and then over the years I have a very low libido and find it difficult to understand simple concepts as well as my short term memory has always been on a decline. I remember everything to the t when I was younger. I know there are others out there who have bigger issues than me but if you and or your team can please provide any type of feedback relating to what type of diet I should follow, what type of supplements should I take. The Comt gene depletes the brain of dopamine, epinephrine, estrogen, and norepinephrine from what I read and I just want to have a life where I feel happy, where I feel like I have more control of my life. Thank you

Grass-Fed Beef

I've heard you mention in several podcast episodes that grass-fed beef is better than conventionally raised beef. Can you quickly summarize why this is? And how do you determine the quality of grass-fed beef when purchasing it at the grocery store? I just learned that the USDA’s standard for a "grass-fed" beef animal is that it be at least 50% grass-fed, even though most people interpret "grass-fed" as the animal forged on grass and other non-grain sources 100% of the time during its life. Where do you source your beef from?

EMF Exposure and Health Issues

I just joined the premium channel, and have only been listening to Andrew Huberman for several months at this point, so he may have already covered this topic. I'm just curious about any potential harmful effects of EMF on human health. I've heard some people mention negative side effects, but I'm wondering if these claims are backed by science and studies. If there are harmful effects, how can we minimize those? Thanks!

Could you discuss the impact of the MTHFR genetic mutation on connective tissue disorders, particularly in relation to Lipedema and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome?

I have a compound heterozygous (or double) MTHFR mutation and inherited connective tissue disorders, Lipedema and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome that I believe are genetically linked. I saw a leading connective tissue expert, Dr. Karen Herbst who diagnosed me and she believes that ADHD is also a core mobility and genetically linked. Both these connective tissues disorders are frequently under diagnosed or altogether misdiagnosed by healthcare professionals. Research is scant and patients like myself are often prescribed treated for something altogether different (like fibromyalgia). They are often spoken about as 'rare diseases' however in the case of Lipedema it affects 11% of the global population, most of which are women. I ended up taking my health into my own hands, diving into medical journals and understanding the lymphatic system. Through diet, treating my sluggish lymphatic system (cold/heat therapy, rebounding, MLD, supplements etc) and exercise I've reduced my Lipedema pain and managing symptoms of EDS. I wonder if you have any further research or advice you could share on this topic. Thank you Dr. Huberman for your amazing contribution to open source knowledge. Your podcast has been a life saver!
