Can you explain what this is? Should we be doing it? If so what are the protocols for doing it?

Magnesium L-threonate long term

I've been taking Magnesium threonate (total 1200mg) daily for the past 2 months. It helped me to boost focus, improve cognitive task performance and anxiety disappeared. Seem to be an easy but multilateral solution for me. Question: Can I safely keep taking it long term (for example daily for 1 year or longer)? My concern is not to create any dependency or other difficult to undo consequences.

Is fasting truly good for you?

Hello, would like to hear your thoughts on the recently published paper https://newsroom.heart.org/news/8-hour-time-restricted-eating-linked-to-a-91-higher-risk-of-cardiovascular-death It seems that fasting in the long run isn't that good after all ?!

Skin care, aging, slow down signs of skin aging

As we become older, we are doing whatever we can to slow down the aging process. There is abundant information on the podcast on how to optimize training, nutrition, supplementing, sleep, which in turn help us 'slow down' the process. I realized there is no information on how to tackle the 'skin aging' problem. Out there, there are lots of advertised products, all citing hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, retinol, karité butter, cocoa butter, sunscreens etc. On paper, all face lotions sound the same, with the same compounds, while price vastly changes. In addition to sunscreen, sleep, hydration, which are counterintuitive strategies, I hope we can have an episode where we hear about the different products out there, what the science says, etc. I feel that research in this matter is very much biased by this or that brand. Oh - also - what is your stance about these expensive red light face masks or blankets ? Thanks!
