On days when I exercise strenuously (run, bike) I have difficultly sleeping (falling asleep, waking multiple times, and waking early) even if I work out prior to noon. Why is this? I once heard that our body can consume amino acids such as adenosine more after a difficult workout but I have no idea if this is really the case. What can I do to get better sleep on days that I work out strenuously?
When I am catching a virus (and sometimes after symptoms arrive) I experience poor sleep. This includes difficulty falling asleep, waking up frequently, difficulty falling back to sleep, and waking up early. Why do I experience this and is there anything I can do to get better sleep when it is most needed?
How does one regulate appetite with hypothalamus dysfunction? I have been dairy free beef only high fat carnivore for a few years now but still struggle with my addiction to the behavior of eating. I can binge on beef and tallow. Since getting off oxycodone 5 years ago, food and working out are the only 2 things that genuinely make me feel any kind of good way in life. Without oxytocin, their is no connection to others. Eating and working out have become my drugs do choice.
