Do you have any insight or information (or can recommend resources) regarding multiple hyperintense white matter lesions on MRI in non-elderly population (ie under 55) and clinical significance re cognitive impairment, or any treatment? Differential diagnoses are demyleniting disease, migraine and chronic small vessel ischemic disease change. Is there any case in which this can be "normal aging"?
What would be the best course of action to help my 9 year old son from hitting himself. We have tried several different supplements and medicines prescribed by a psychiatrist. I would like to know what course of action would you recommend. Also looking into TMS
I have had a theory since high school that my peak cognitive performance falls two days post masturbation. Is there any mechanism in the dopaminergic or hormonal systems affected by masturbation that could influence cognitive performance, or rather mood and alertness? It is curious that performance has peaked ~2 days after, although this could certainly be placebo. Would love to hear some thoughts on longer term "no-fap" as well, and whether it could act on any of the aforementioned systems or others to affect cognitive performance and/or focus specifically.
