Through glass and black out shades

I am confused by information on your sight. Your sight says - "Contacts and eyeglasses (even those with UV protection) are fine to wear when viewing morning sunlight. However, don’t use sunglasses or blue blockers during morning sunlight-viewing — you won’t get the maximum effects from the morning sunlight.... Note: trying to do all this through a windshield or window won’t work; too many of the relevant wavelengths are filtered out." Will light through your apartment window help you wake up? Do you want shades to go up before you walk up even if your window is closed? I have a 15 year old who insist you are saying that the light won't help if the windows are closed. Are you saying turning lights on better than natural light through a window?

Today's "attack" on HL in NY mag

Kindle vs paper book

Is there any difference between the kindle vs traditional paper books? Effects on brain, retention, or sleep.

Metabolizing Cortisol

There’s so much talk about cortisol these days but after completing a DUTCH test and seeing that my metabolized cortisol (THF + THE) is super low while my free cortisol is within normal range, I have discovered that there is little to no information on how to improve this relationship. Are there “ways” to improve cortisol metabolism? I’m awaiting a consult with my Doctor but always appreciate your insight and expertise. Thank you!

Neurofeedback and Neurotherapy

As an expert in health and the brain, I'm interested in your perspective on neurofeedback and neurotherapy. I understand that there has been a significant amount of skepticism surrounding these techniques over the years. However, after decades of research and application, there appears to be a growing body of evidence suggesting that neurofeedback and neurotherapy can be effective for various conditions. At the same time, I recognize that not all modalities within these fields are the same, and some may work better or differently than others. Given the complex nature of this topic, could you please share your insights on the current state of neurofeedback and neurotherapy?
