Breath holding to boost EPO for Cardio

I've heard of blood doping with EPO and the harmful effects it can have. But what about natural ways to boost your EPO for cardio performance like a breath holding routine. Would this be useful if I want to improve my cardio vascular fitness and VO2 max? If so how long would these potential results be sustained? Thanks!

Hypersomnia

I struggle greatly with hypersonmia and would give anything to find a solution. I m 42, and about 10 years ago I was diagnosed with bipolar type I. I am seen by a psychiatrist who manages my medications, and I have been stable for many years. I work remotely three days a week and have a hard time getting up and moving these mornings - I often will sleep in until I have a morning Zoom or Teams meeting. The only time I seem able to get out of bed early, before 9:00, is if there is a consequence to not doing so. For instance, if I would miss a doctor's appointment, a work meeting, or a gym session with my personal trainer, I am either creating a need to schedule another appointment, apologize to my boss, or forfeit a training session at the gym. On the weekends, I will often sleep until at least noon, but many times until at least 2:00 pm or later. Part of the problem is not having a weekend routine, but I also know that without consequences to sleeping in, a routine will not solve the problem. What medications, supplements, or other actions could help relieve the desire to not get moving at a reasonable hour each morning? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Endometriois, Epilepsy

Greetings, Dr. Huberman, I am an avid listener of health and science podcasts, and I particularly appreciate HubermanLab for its thorough and nuanced approach to each subject. I am reaching out with a request for an episode that addresses some specific health challenges I am facing. For context, I am a 22-year-old woman who developed catamenial epilepsy in the past year, despite having no previous neurological issues. Additionally, I have endometriosis and struggle with a weak pelvic floor. My most recent seizure in February caused temporary paralysis on my left side for a few days. Since then, I have been dedicated to learning how to become the healthiest version of myself through sleep, nutrition, and exercise. I would greatly appreciate an episode that explores these interconnected health issues and offers insights or strategies for managing them. Thank you for considering my request.
