Bulimia with binge-purge cycles can result in dramatic fluctuations in blood glucose. What do we know about the negative consequences this? For someone with a long history of BN (decades), what can be done to offset the impact(s) other than achieving remission?
What is the "minimum effective dose" of HIIT needed to reap the benefits? If I am doing 2 x 15 minute blocks per week, is that enough? I typically do Zone 2 followed by HIIT then resistance training then my first meal of the day (30+ grams protein), in that order. Thoughts?
Many docs only test TSH and supplement with T4 (Synthroid). I have had hypothyroidism for years. Currently, my TSH is low/below normal on Synthroid but my T3 levels are also low normal and I continue to have symptoms of hypothyroidism. When is supplementation with T3 recommended? How should appropriate dose be determined? When should complete thyroid panels (antibodies, etc) be considered?
