Following HubermanLab interview: "Dr. Chris Palmer: Diet & Nutrition for Mental Health" I read his book Brain Energy - which was excellent and lead me to do some research into Keto. Dr Michael Mosley's books on Keto come up at the top of the list on Amazon as highest rated, no fuss, mediterranean inspired. We've bought a couple of his books which have been instant hits out home here.
It would be awesome if you could do more one-page summaries such as you've done for the Foundational Fitness Protocol and article (https://hubermanlab.com/foundational-fitness-protocol/). Perhaps these could be bundled through the Premium subscription - or additional-donation paid downloads like examine.com offers. Strech goal: a holistic summary (the summary of summaries!) for optimal living year round (work, rest and play). With references to the science that sits behind each principal (links to episodes etc).
I’m about to start a 14 week fight camp, and there’s an opportunity to get selected for a charity boxing fight at the end of the camp. If I end up fighting, would it be beneficial to use some of the cold exposure protocols that you’ve spoken about (for cooling the hands, feet and head) on your podcasts in between rounds? What would the best technique be, given that I’d need to have time to remove my gloves and wraps if I was cooling my palms? If removing my gloves and wraps is impractical, what other options do I have? Thanks!
