Hi I am on a 20 minute sauna three minute cold plunge regiment. I try to avoid cold after workouts to not limit muscle growth but do it after running as I have plantar fasciitis and lots of lower body pain. My question is if I train upper body with weights then finish with a 30-40 minute run can I do the cold therapy immediately after if I don’t fully submerge and just basically soak the legs heels and lower back. The upper back, chest shoulders etc would not be under or would that still cause issues Thanks so much for all the stuff you put out it’s a life changer!
There is a bunch of evidence regarding the cardiovascular morbi-mortality in women specifically. The evidence show that there is a gap of knowledge, a gap of diagnoses on women in that topic because of many parameters. There is a bit of controversy and I would be very glad if you could clarify the reason that we all think in the medical and scientific community that this gap is true. Is it really true ? Is it related to hormonal differences ? Lifestyle ? Thanks for your work Fouad
