Mechanisms to improve mitochondrias

As far as I’ve learned from your podcast, there are different mechanisms to improve our mitochondrias, get rid of the malfunctioning ones and increase its number: cold exposure, hiit, zone 2 cardio, ketosis and so on. For some people one way would be easier to apply than others: diet over exercise, exercise over cold… I’d like to ask if forcing ourselves to go for the easier mechanism (for us) has fewer benefits in terms of having healthier mitochondrias rather than going for what most challenges ourselves. Do we know if one way is better than others?

Female studies

Hello! There is a large body of evidence growing that women experience things very differently and have to be more careful to preserve hormonal function - examples are fasting and workouts and meal timing and stress. Are studies not conducted as much in women? Do you think that it is unsafe to apply things universally and say that X is good when it hasn’t been tested on females of childbearing age?

Most Effective Way to Mentally Recover

If the "work hard, play hard" strategy leads to burnout, what is the most effective way to mentally recover? Should I be spending my Sundays doing as little as possible so that I can be fully present for the workweek? I have a well-established daily meditation routine. What are the most effective ways to mentally recover on the weekly time scale?

sunlight and vision

Dr. Huberman, How can I prevent cataracts if I receive sunlight each morning/day into the eyes? I have been told that wearing sunglasses and avoiding sun in the eyes would be necessary to prevent the formation of cataracts. I ask because I am 60 and have a family history of them. Thank you very much for helping me.
