Before corona my girl was always out. She never played games on the phone prior to her 8th birthday. When lock down came to our life, she was stuck in an apartment, with no friends and she started to pay roblox. In one year she taught herself English to speak, read and write, only by playing games with kids online. On the other hand she has found school hard. She has ok grades but she is not engaging in learning and as the subjects will get more complex I am afraid if she doesn't learn to learn she will be in trouble soon. Do you know what would be the best resources for me to read, to attend some online classes for parents or any other ideas on how to create a learning game for her, or better to say how to make learning as a game. I want to replicate her learning English on other school subjects, any tips? Thank you, Milica
As of late, taking microdoses of LSD to somewhat (but not completely) reduce one's alcohol intake on a night out (e.g. clubbing) seems to have become a popular practice. Supposedly, it allows one to feel more social and elated, without having to drink as much alcohol as one normally would. Is this a healthy practice (reduction of alcohol intake) or does the combination of alcohol and LSD create other, or even worse risks?
How do athletes or all of us use our vision to accomplish tasks such as hitting a baseball or playing tennis or golf? What can we do to improve our vision and all the related visually-based functions for better sports performance, or for that matter better driving ability, better learning, etc?
